Grammys 2018: Key winners and nominees

0

Bruno Mars dominated the 2018 Grammy awards, in a ceremony that highlighted both the #MeToo movement and the attacks on Manchester and Las Vegas music fans.

Mars won album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year, beating out stiff competition from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino.

However, in the year of the #MeToo movements, the lack of female winners was particularly galling, with Alessia Cara the only woman to win a top award – for best newcomer. Meanwhile, stars like Lady Gaga, Kesha, Lorde and SZA were overlooked.
