A man jumping in to Sydney Harbour was scared to find a Great White Shark waiting for him in the water below.

YouTube user Terry Tufferson uploaded the video of an Australian man jumping from Manly Rock into Sydney Harbour while wearing a GoPro camera.

However, as soon as he jumped his friend on the shore shouted a warning that he had spotted a shark.

The swimmer was then met face-to-face with the Great White, who luckily does not appear too interested, before getting to dry land as quickly as possible.

The video rapidly went viral, with more than a million views in a single day, but a number of viewers have commented that they think the video was faked, possibly as an advert for GoPro, or possibly just for fun.
