Authorities in Cumbria had been hunting for a individual that has been responsible for a six month reign of car vandalism were surprised to find the culprit was a border collie.

Over the past six month more than 10 cars parked in the Jocks Hill area of Brampton had suffered slow punctures, with the damage caused by an unknown vandal.

CCTV footage finally caught the vandal in the act, however, with a border collie called “Jess” biting the tyres of cars during her daily walk.

The dog was reportedly hit by a car 18 months ago, and since then has been getting her revenge.

The dog’s owner was both surprised and very apologetic when she was told of the damage her dog had caused, and has vowed to keep the animal on a lead in the future.
