When a woman from Texas, US, called police to complain about the quality of the marijuana she purchased from a local dealer, she was surprised to find that she was the one that got arrested.
Evelyn Hamilton, 37, took the matter to the police when her drug dealer refused to give her a refund after she complained that the “seeds and residue” she bought was substandard according to Fox News
However, when the police arrived at her location and she showed them a small packet of marijuana to demonstrate its poor quality, she was arrested on the spot and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cannabis possession is currently legal in the states of Colorado and Washington, decriminalised in 15 more states, but remains illegal in Texas and on a federal level.
