A greyhound puppy managed to accidentally “blow up” its owner’s front after it was left alone in the house.
A couple were panicked to received phone calls from friends and neighbours shortly after leaving their home in Goldthorpe, Barnsley saying that their house was on fire.
It appears that the puppy, called Zeus, was rummaging around under the sofa after they had left and managed to find and puncture an aerosol deodorant can, which then reacted when the heating came on according to the Barnsley Chronicle.
When the couple returned to their property they found a small fire on their sofa, but the windows of their front room blown out. Luckily, however, all of their three cats and three dogs were alive and well after the blast.
