Nissan has developed a new paint that it claims repels dirt and could stop the need for motorists to visit a car wash.
The Japanese carmaker demonstrated the new paint in a YouTube video where they paint one side of a Nissan Note with the special paint and then take the car for a ride through everyday conditions, including driving down a very wet and muddy track. The specially painted side remains spotless throughout, repelling the dirt as quickly as it appears.
However, the new paintwork is expected to cost an estimated £450, which is a lot of car washes.
