The video of a cat saving a young boy from a vicious dog attack went viral last week, with cat lovers around the world finally having a “good guy cat” to rally around.
To celebrate Tara the cat’s bravery, California’s Bakersfield Blaze baseball team invited the feline along to “throw” the first pitch at their game on Tuesday night.
The team attached a baseball to a line and with the bot Tara saved close by, her owner, Roger Triantafilo, held her to swat at the ball a few times, before giving up and tossing it in himself.
Well, I gave it my best shot, but my humans really got in the way. Everyone knows I'm left pawed.
