After announcing on Wednesday that the Grangemouth petrochemical plant would close, operator Ineos has now reversed its decision after the union agreed to the proposed “survival plan”.
Leaders from Unite are reportedly optimistic that Grangemouth petrochemical plant may be reopened after a meeting with management in which they decided to embrace the Ineos survival plan.
Union leaders are set to offer concessions to management to try to save the Grangemouth petrochemical plant from closure.
