The world’s oldest football ground
Voters in the Sheffield suburb of Crosspool descend on Hallam FC’s Sandygate to cast their votes. Established in 1860, Hallam FC is second only to local rivals Sheffield FC in the list of the oldest association football clubs in the world, and their Sandygate ground is the oldest still in use today.
