Two skydivers have died after they crashed into a building during a tandem jump on Cape Code, Massachusetts.

The instructor and student missed their planned landing area and struck a garage on Race Lane in Marstons Mills on Sunday night.

The pair were rushed to Cape Cod Hospital, but succumbed to their injuries.

Local police, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the district attorney’s office are investigating the incident, but it is not yet clear if an equipment malfunction was to blame.

Massachusetts State Police described both victims as adult males, but their identities have not been disclosed.
