Police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have identified eight “persons of interest” that they plan to interview in Portugal.
According to the Telegraph, Scotland Yard plans to question three convicted drug dealers that are believed to have been involved in burglaries in the area around Praia da Luz shortly before the disappearance of Madeleine McCann on 3 May 2007, as well as workers at the Ocean Club resort.
Portuguese authorities have agreed with requests from officers involved in Operation Grange to interview the suspects and examine their financial records after they have completed their current search of the scrubland near to where the young girl disappeared.
