A pupil and a teacher have died, with another pupil seriously injured, after a knife attack at a school in Sweden.
Police were called to the Kronan school in Trollhattan, a town around 75km (50 miles) north of Gothenburg, at around 10:10 local time (08:10 GMT) after reports of a masked man entering the school and attacking pupils and teachers with a sword.
One teacher died of his wounds at the scene, while two boys, aged 11 and 15, were rushed to hospital. One of the boys has since died of his injuries.
The attacker was shot by police and is undergoing surgery at a nearby hospital.
Pupils described the attacker wearing black clothes and a mask, possibly a Star Wars mask, and carrying a sword.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing terrified pupils fleeing from the school building screaming.
The motive of the attacker is currently unknown.
