An RAF parachutist and an elderly spectator were taken to hospital after a collision at an air show in Weston-super-Mare.
At around 13:20 on Sunday a parachutist from the RAF Falcon display team collided with an 82-year-old woman as he came in to land.
Both people were evacuated to hospital by air ambulance, but neither have life-threatening injuries, and the parachutist is reported to have since left hospital.
Somerset Police said in a statement:
“There will be liaison between various agencies to ensure an appropriate investigation into the incident takes place.”
