A second family from the United Arab Emirates has been the victim of an armed robbery in London.
In the most recent attack, a seven-member gang reportedly robbed a UAE couple at gunpoint in their apartment in London, according to UAE Ambassador to the UK, Abdul Rehman Ghanem Al Mutaiwei.
The masked robbers forced their way into the apartment at around 01:30 carrying hammers, knives, and gun, and stole the family’s money, jewellery, and credit cards, according to The National.
Al Mutaiwei stated that the masked robbers, who carried hammers, knives and guns, forced into the door of the apartment, threatened the family and stole their money, jewellery and credit cards.
The couple were not physically harmed during the incident.
This attack comes in the wake of a savage hammer attack on three women in the early hours of 7 April, where one of the victims lost an eye and was left with permanent brain damage.
