The police watchdog have launched an investigation into allegations that the Metropolitan Police covered up child sex offences involving officers and MPs.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating 14 referrals relating “high-level corruption of the most serious nature” with regard to child sex offences from the 1970s to the 2000s.

The allegations include suppressing evidence, hindering or halting investigations, and covering up the offences because of the involvement of members of parliament and police officers.

The Met said that it voluntarily referred the allegations to the watchdog.

The IPCC Deputy Chair Sarah Green said:

“These allegations are of historic, high level corruption of the most serious nature.

“We will oversee the investigations and ensure that they meet the terms of reference that we will set. Allegations of this nature are of grave concern and I would like to reassure people of our absolute commitment to ensuring that the investigations are thorough and robust.”

In a statement, the Met said:

“The allegations emerged whilst officers were working on Operation Fairbank and relate to the period between 1970 and 2005.

“The MPS [Metropolitan Police] recognised the severity of the allegations, and the importance of understanding whether or not our officers had in the past acted inappropriately, and therefore voluntarily referred the 16 separate allegations to the IPCC.

“Ongoing investigations and recent convictions by officers from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command have shown that the MPS is fully committed to investigating non-recent allegations of sexual abuse.”

The original allegations of child abuse targeting young men in Dolphin Square by prominent members of the establishment are still being investigated by the Met.

  1. It is an unfortunate fact but the Establishment always closes ranks and cover up their wrongdoings. Indeed, even after another inquiry, little will happen as the cover-ups go on infinitum, even in the police. How many politicians for one instance paid the price of their wrongdoings that emerged over the last ten years alone? Hardly any and those very few who were made as scapegoats, got off very leniently compared to what those outside the establishment would have suffered through long-terms in imprisonment and financial loss. Now we are expected to believe that justice will be done with the MET. police. Pull the other one, as no senior officer at above the rank of chief super, will be led out to slaughter. It just will not happen, but where tens of millions will be spent on the whole sordid process, not trying to unravel the truth, but to cover it up. You see at the top many according to a growing body of international research have psychopathic tendencies with no empathy for others, including our illustrious MET.

Therefore don’t hold your breath that anything meaningful will come out in the end and the establishment will just still go on their merry little way, covering up things whilst they totally continue to abuse decent people and society in general. For these people should not be looked up to as they once were before people became more informed on their undercover activities. They are the ones who control us, but where in reality, they are the ones who make our society a worse state of affairs for up to 90% of the people. It is at the top where all
this decent happens, but where they are the ones who always get left alone, even when they are as guilty as sin itself.

For even Churchill had this trait and where even knowing that one his own was a war-time traitor, who indirectly caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of allied lives and their terrible suffering in the Far-East, allowed him to live out his life in sheer bliss and until his eventual death some 20 years after the end of WW2. Why did Churchill do this and where there can only be one answer. The Establishment look after their own, no matter what crimes against humanity that they commit.

It’s time that more people got wise to the workings of the Establishment, so that over time, it can hopefully be changed to a better way of controlling the people and the nation as a whole.
