Hundreds of people were evacuated from Camden’s Stable Market in north London after a fire broke out.

London Fire Brigade were called to the Stables Market around just before 20:00 BST, and quickly evacuate around 600 people from the shops and bars nearby.

The fire was in the roof voids of the shops, and it took 10 fire engines and over 70 firefighters and officers nearly three hours to bring the blaze under control.

No-one has been reported injured by the fire or smoke.

Camden’s Stable Market is located in the former Pickfords stables and Grade II listed horse hospital by Camden Lock, with stalls selling clothing, jewellery, and books to locals and tourists.
