Former N-Dubz singer Dappy has been found guilty of assaulting a man inside an Essex nightclub.

Dappy, real name Dino Costas Contostavlos, 27, has been found guilty of slapping George Chittock after an event at the Chicago’s nightclub in Chelmsford on 27 February.

The former pop star held his head in his hands as the verdict was delivered at Chelmsford Magistrate’s Court, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £930.
