A wooden box containing $8.5 million (£5 million) in cash was discovered by a documentary film crew at a flat in East London on Wednesday morning.
The money was discovered by a Channel 5 crew who were making a film about bailiffs, and followed them into the property at Wards Wharf Apartments as they executed a warrant to recover a debt.
A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of money laundering, has since been released on bail until mid-August.
