Whitey has continued to be one of my favourite artists over the last few years making the “electrowave” genre his own. It was 2007′s bluesy bass-led groove of Stay On The Outsideon the Kitsune Maison #4 compilation that got me hooked, and he’s been regularly releasing records since all the way back in 2004 up until the fantastic Lost Summer that dropped last May.
Having spent nearly a decade on the digital indie release cycle with no label, Whitey has decided that now was the time to both get funding for a new album and to finally release all his back catalogue on vinyl and CD.
