British actress Emily Blunt has admitted to nearly killing Tom Cruise on the set of the movie Edge Of Tomorrow by crashing a car into a tree with the Oscar-nominee in the passenger seat.

Blunt told Conan O’Brien that she did not heed experienced stunt driver Cruise’s repeated warnings to hit the brakes, and they smashed into a tree.

However, it does not appear that cruise was phased by his near-death experience, and as soon as he checked he was all in one piece he and Blunt started laughing at the whole experience.
