A teaser trailer purporting to be for the upcoming 24th James Bond film surfaced today, much to the surprise of 007 fans and Sony Pictures, the movie studio behind the film.

The short video featured a woman standing in a graveyard and a close up of Daniel Craig, along with a proposed title for the upcoming movie in Come and Dive.

Despite the creators of the trailer setting up a Facebook page and sending an official-looking press release to film magazine and blogs, the video was quickly spotted as a fake, a theory confirmed by Sony Pictures.

The as yet untitled 24 Bond film will be released in cinemas on 23 October 2015, with Daniel Craig returning as Bond, and Sam Mendes reprising his role behind the camera.
