Late actor Paul Walker will be resurrected on film using CGI and as many as four body doubles for the upcoming Fast & Furious 7 movie.

The actor, who has played alongside Vin Diesel in the previous six Fast and Furious movies, was killed in a car accident in California last December, midway through filming Fast and Furious 7.

Whilst it is not yet clear how many of Walker’s scenes had been filmed before his untimely death, a source involved with the film told NY Daily News:

“They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul’s physique and they will be used for movement and as a base… Paul’s face and voice will be used on top using CGI.”

Fast & Furious 7 is set for release on 10 April 2015.
