The internet is buzzing with the rumour that the cross-dressing Robin Williams comedy Mrs Doubtfire may be getting a sequel.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Elf writer David Berenbaum is currently working on the script, and Fox 2000 is planning on reuniting Robin Williams with director Chris Columbus for the film.

The 1993 original made more than $400 million (£237 million) at the box office and picked up two Golden Globe awards, and the sequel has reportedly been in the works for more than a decade.
