Jeremy Clarkson denied using the N-word during the filming of Top Gear after accusations by the Mirror.
The newspaper claims to have unseen footage from the show where they say Clarkson is shown trying to choose between two cars and using a racist version of the “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe” nursery rhyme.
The Mirror say that they hired a firm of audio forensic experts to analyse the clip, who confirmed their allegation that Clarkson said:
“Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, catch a n***** by his toe…”
The clip was edited from the show and never broadcast, and Clarkson has adamantly denied using the term, saying that he never uses the N-word.
I did not use the n word. Never use it. The Mirror has gone way too far this time.

The allegation comes in the wake of Clarkson using the term “slope” to describe an Asian man walking across the Bridge of the River Kwai in the Top gear Burma Special.
