A video has appeared online purporting to show a real hoverboard in action as first shown in Back to the Future II in 1989, and to lend some legitimacy to the film, it is presented by Dr. Emmett Brown, otherwise known as actor Christopher Lloyd.

The website for the manufacturer of the Huvr hoverboard, Huvr Tech gives a “destination time” of December 2014.

In the video we see the hoverboard being used by Tony Hawk, Moby, and a number of other, who all rave about how easy it was to use the first time.

A second video actor Billy Zane, who played Match in Back to the Future in 1985, is shown the hoverboard
