The University of Sheffield has been rated as the best place to study by students in this year’s Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
The northern university was ranked as offering the best student experience in the yearly survey that compares universities across 21 categories including quality of staff and lectures, social life, unions, and accommodation from the responses of more than 14,000 undergraduates.
Sheffield was particularly strong for its student’s union, with Oxford rated most highly for the quality of staff and lectures, and Bath best for its industry connections. East Anglia slipped down the list from first in 2013 to third this year.
