Police in Lahore, Pakistan have withdrawn attempted murder charges against a nine-month-old baby, and the child has been freed, according to the Associated Press.
Muhammad Mosa Khan had been charged last week along with his whole family for allegedly throwing stones at Lahore police officers as they raided homes for non-payment their gas bills in Muslim Town, Lahore.
However, the police had failed to properly investigate the family and charged the boy by mistake, as children under the age of seven cannot be prosecuted under Pakistan law.
The charges were dismissed against Khan by the judge in a hearing earlier today.
