Peter Weir’s 1998 movie The Truman Show, which satirised reality television, is to be adapted into a series for Paramount.

Few details are known about the development, but it is unlikely that Weir or Jim Carrey will be reprising thier roles in the project.

Paramount’s newly launched TV division are also reportedly exploring the possibility of a new series based on the Terminator movies.
