A total of five aircraft have now spotted objects floating in the southern Indian Ocean in their search for the Missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
A Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) P3 Orion was the first to report the sighting a number of objects white or light in colour and a fishing buoy earlier today.
A Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) P3 Orion was then sent to confirm the location of the objects detected by the RNZAP Orion and potted two blue/grey rectangular objects floating in the ocean.
A second RAAF P3 Orion saw a number of objects of various colours in a separate search patch 546km away.
AMSA has tasked Chinese Maritime Administration patrol ship, Haixun 01, which is in the search area and will be in a position to relocate the location of the sightings on Saturday, with the hope of recovering the objects and confirming that they are from the missing aircraft that disappeared on 8 March with 239 people on board.

I’m no detective but i’d have thought a fishing buoy is most likely from a fishing boat, not a commercial airline!
