NASA have released a video showing how they believe Mars could have looked 4 billion years ago.
The artists impression of ancient Mars begins with a flyover of what could have been the fjords of Norway and Swiss mountains, before time passes and the once warm and wet planet begins to cool and dry to become the dusty wasteland it has become today.
