We like to highlight some of the best of the web here at The Descrier, and sometimes the gems we find just put everything in a little perspective.
Cary Huang has created just such a piece with The Scale of the Universe which not only puts in perspective how much bigger we are than than the things that make up our world from quarks, to neutrons to DNA to viruses, to red blood cells to human eggs to show what beautiful and complex creatures we are, but also puts us, our buildings, our planet, and our galaxy as insignificant dots in the universe.
It’s simple and yet breathtaking.
