Snake devours crocodile after five hour battle in Queensland, Australia

Extraordinary images were captured of an epic five-hour battle between a snake and a crocodile in Queensland, Australia, in which the 10-foot python eventually devours his opponent.

The battle took place at Lake Moondarra, near Mount Isa, with a number of onlookers witnessing the snake coil itself around the crocodile as they wrestled in the water, with the animal finally succumbing to exhaustion after hours of struggle.

Once the python had killed the crocodile, it dragged the reptile onto dry land before dislocating its jaw to enjoy a well-deserved meal.
