Fast-food restaurant McDonald’s announced the launch of its new mascot Happy, much to the horror of young customers, with some dubbing the figure “McScary”.
The toothy Happy Meal box is supposed to be an ‘ambassador’ to the restaurants’ children’s menu, but he looks like he may be following in the footsteps of other children’s nightmares that the company have turned into mascots like the Hamburglar and the clown Ronald McDonald.
