Art critics have been less than impressed by George W. Bush’s exhibition of his paintings of world leaders, but even more interesting is that the sharp-eyed Greg Allen noticed that the paintings have taken more than a little inspiration from the top images of the leaders on a Google Images search.
Does this make the former President a “lazy artist”, or was he using the Google Images search results, many of which are form Wikipedia, as merely inspiration and tried to paint the individual’s personality with his brush?
