Four men have been arrested in conjuction with a video of a base jump from the top of the World Trade Center Freedom Tower.
Three men have been arrested in New York, accused of jumping from the top of the 541m tower, with a fourth man arrested for allegedly being their accomplice on the ground and helping them escape according to NY Daily News.
Police raided the homes of the alleged jumpers last month, with the men turning themselves in to a New york police station soon afterwards. The men face charges of felony burglary, after allegedly breaking into the building to make the jump, with base jumping also defined a crime in new York.
The video shows three men with helmet camera jump from the edge at the top of the building one after another, smoothly gliding down to the streets below, before bundling up their parachutes and escaping on foot.
The roads below appear almost empty, which would align with the police allegations that the jump occurred at around 03:00 local time on 30 September 2013.
The men have been named as base jumping enthusiasts Andrew Rossig, James Brady, Marko Markovich, and Kyle Hartwell
