Two gunmen have shot and killed two police officers, before killing a third person and then committing suicide in Las Vegas, US.
A man and a woman opened fire on police officers Alyn Beck, 41, and Igor Soldo, 31, at around 11:30 local time (18:30 GMT) on Sunday at Cici’s pizza parlour in north Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the shooters stole the weapons from the police and draped Revolutionary War-era Gadsden flag over their bodies, and fled the scene, reportedly shouting to bystanders:
“Tell the police the revolution has begun”
The pair then entered a nearby Walmart where they fatally shot another person before turning their guns on themselves.
Walmart released a statement concerning the shooting, which said:
“We express our deepest condolences to everyone who have been affected by this senseless act of violence. Our store is currently closed. This is still an active investigation and we are working with local police.”
