CCTV footage broadcast by Sky News show Paralympics star Oscar Pistorius and his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp joking and flirting as they did their grocery shopping at a Woolworths in Pretoria, South Africa, ten days before Steenkamp’s death on 14th February 2013.
The footage of the apparently happy couple has been released in advance of his trial for her murder begins on Monday, where the prosecution are expected to argue that the couple had relationship problems and the 27-year-old planned to kill her.
Pistorius insists that the couple were very much in love, when he accidentally shot her through a locked bathroom door at his home, believing that she was an intruder.
The trial is expected to last three weeks.
