A woman has admitted killing her pet kitten by putting it in the microwave after she believed that it ate her goldfish.
Laura Cunliffe, 23, pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to the cat, which died around 90 minutes after spending 60 seconds in the microwave in September 2013.
Cunliffe has been released on bail pending her sentencing hearing on 13th March.
