The UK’s 20 worst postcodes for burglaries in the UK have been revealed, based on insurance figures.
Chorlton in Manchester is the most robbed area of the UK with 45.2 robberies per 1000 home insurance quotes, but London makes up up over half of the crime hotspots in the list.
The data was compiled from analysis of 3.1 million home insurance quote requests submitted to MoneySupermarket last year, with those looking to insure their property required to state if they had previously made a claim for burglary.
At the other end of the scale, nine districts in the UK registered no burglary claims over the last twelve months.
