Two men have been arrested in London by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command.
A 50-year-old man was arrested in Westminster on suspicion of encouraging terrorism and possessing information useful to persons preparing of committing acts of terrorism, and a 57-year-old man was arrested in Barnet on suspicion of encouraging terrorism.
The two men are being held at a south London police station while searches of two residential properties in Westminster and Barnet are underway, according to the BBC.
