Police have released a list of Britain’s enough “most wanted” criminals thought to be hiding in the Netherlands as part of Operation Return, including a relative of footballer Steven Gerrard.

The list includes convicted members of organised crime gangs, who have fled justice in the UK and are believed to be hiding around the Netherlands capital, Amsterdam.

According to Crimestoppers:

The list includes some of the UK’s most dangerous criminals wanted for crimes relating to drug smuggling, rape and unlawful wounding.

The list includes:

  • Thomas Tooth – convicted of an affray and unlawful wounding.
  • Liam Fynes – accused of possession of drugs cannabis and diamorphine, and possession of ammunition without a shotgun certificate.
  • Michael Paul Moogan – accused of conspiracy to import cocaine
  • Robert Stephen Gerrard – convicted of possession of a false identity document and obtaining property by deception and accused of conspiring to import cocaine.
  • Mark Liscott – accused of conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs
  • Rezgar Zengana – convicted of rape
  • Mark Fitzgibbon – accused of conspiring to supply amphetamine and cannabis
  • James Tarrant – convicted of conspiring to supply cocine and cannabis and possession of a firearm and ammunition

Lord Ashcroft, KCMG PC, Founder and Chair of Crimestoppers, said:

“This is the third campaign to be launched in the Netherlands and follows the recent success of Operation Captura in Spain and Operation Zygos in Cyprus where to date 61 out of 85 fugitives have now been arrested.”

“I hope that these campaigns give a clear message to British fugitives that escaping abroad does not mean you can escape justice for your crimes. I would urge the public to look at our Most Wanted gallery to see if they recognise any of the individuals listed. If you have any information then please contact us anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online as your information could prove vital to police.”
