John Darwin, the man who faked his own death by canoeing accident for insurance fraud, may face Christmas in jail after reportedly breaching the conditions of his parole by travelling to Ukraine.
Darwin, 63, was released from prison in January 2011, but was banned from leaving the UK without proper notification of the authorities.
However, he reportedly made a number of trips to Ukraine to search for a new wife, and was spotted at a restaurant with 25-year-old Anna Avramenko.
Darwin was arrested at Newcastle airport on his return to the UK.
