For a trio, San Francisco band Tartufi sure make a lot of noise.
Comprised of members Lynne Angel, Brian Gorman and Ben Thorne, the band have been playing together since 2009 and have accrued masses of great press from their local Bay area and neighbouring states. No wonder; their blend of garage, surf rock and (in the production at least) psychedelia makes their music immensely infectious and equally phenomenal in its layering. They’re probably awesome live, in every sense of the word.
With an upcoming album, The Factory Days due out on March 26th through Southern Records, and a new video for lead song “Eaves” to boot, it shouldn’t be long before they find the world at their feet.
