On their debut album, Chicago based band Sunjacket mix call and response style vocals with handclaps, garage guitar riffs and down-and-out howling to produce the most infectious listen this side of any goodOkkervil River song.

The five piece recently released Grandstanders thanks to BandCamp; a foot stamping, finger clicking dedication to their collective talents. Those of us who shirk away from stadium rock needn’t be put off by our description so far – Sunjacket have learned a thing or two from the commercial circuit, but they don’t rely on gimmicks to pull off their sound.
