Say hello to New York’s very own Hussle Club; the project of Prince Terence, formally known as Terry Campbell. Campbell’s previous musical projects include twilighting as the touring drummer for Major Lazer and Santigold, however he is now firmly located in NYC recording and performing as Hussle Club.

To any first timer, Hussle Club’s Children of the Underground EP, could be mistaken as the mastery of a musical menagerie. However the 6-track EP, which is free to download, is an exclusive product of the Prince. Prince Terence composed and crafted the entire production, personally recording each element and playing every instrument. The result- tight drum beats, funky bass lines that form dark glam/ psychedelic rock tracks resembling a softer, more accessible interpretation of Marilyn Manson.

Although Children of the Underground was created by Prince Terence alone, Hussle Club immaculately transcends the recording vacuum as Terence is joined by a band on stage. Those lucky enough to catch HC live will be greeted by an unusual combination of head bangers and disco dancers; a combination that forms the result of a winning amalgamation of post punk and dance, into an electro, funk rock apparition.
