When the leaders of the G8 came together in the UK recently, their parting gift from Prime Minister David Cameron was a USB stick containing a 10-song playlist of what was described as the “best of British pop music”.
It’s an eclectic mix, and whilst some of it may not be to this writer’s taste, it is certainly better than I had expected – when politicians show their musical taste it generally varies from cringe-worthy to downright depressing they haven’t heard any new music in the last 20 years.
I do hope they were bought from a UK music download service that pays their taxes in the UK of course.
What do you think of Cameron’s selections?
