Police in Singapore are investigating the “unnatural” death of Autumn Radtke, the CEO of virtual currency trading firm First Meta Pte Ltd.

Radtke, 28, was found dead in her home in the city last week in an apparent suicide. Officials are hoping that toxicology reports will help determine her exact cause of death.

On their website, First Meta issued a statement saying:

The First Meta team is shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of our friend and CEO Autumn Radtke.
Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends and loved ones.
Autumn was an inspiration to all of us and she will be sorely missed.

Her death comes amid a troublesome week for the digital cryptocurrency Bitcoin, after the former leading bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox and bitcoin bank Flexcoin were both forced to close their doors after hackers stole much of their digital currency.
