Officials in the German city of Munich have designed six ‘urban naked zones’ where naturists be naked in public without risking arrest.
The zones are in a number of the city’s parks, where the naturists will find some privacy, but they are only minutes from some of the most busy areas and not fenced off or hidden away. One is only ten minutes from Munich’s main square, a tourist hotspot.
The new zones have comes after state-wide Bavarian laws on public nudity expired last autumn, leaving Germany’s third largest city to decide for itself, according to Atlantic Cities.
