A Utah woman has been arrested after the bodies of seven dead babies were discovered in the garage of her former home.

Police were called to an address in Pleasant Grove on Saturday after the woman’s estranged husband discovered a dead infant at their home. In searching the house, officers then found the bodies of six more infants.

The babies are believed to have been born between 1996 and 2006, and their bodies have been sent to Utah Medical Center for tests and to determine the cause of death.

Local media have identified the woman as Megan Hunstman, 39, who was arrested on Sunday morning and charged with multiple counts of murder.
