Belgian authorities have released new video footage showing the man they believe remains on the run after detonating a bomb at Brussels airport.

The man is shown leaving the area in CCTV footage from 22 March, wearing a hat and a light coloured jacket. He is later believed to have discarded the jacket in an attempt to avoid being spotted.

Belgian police have asked for those who “might have filmed or taken a photograph of the suspect” or believe they have any useful information, including information on where the man discarded the jacket to contact them

A terror cell linked to the Islamic State killed 32 people in an attack on Brussels airport and a metro station in the city. Three men are believed to have been behind the attack, with two dying in suicide blasts.

Belgian authorities can be contacted on 0800 30 300 (in Belgium) or on +32 255 444 88 (from abroad).
